Coming out to friends and family can be a tricky enough process, but celebrities also have to deal with coming out to the press and public. But thankfully there are more and more non-straight celebs speaking out and showing that when it comes to your sexuality, honesty is often the first step on the road to being your true, happy self.
Here are 10 of our fave LGBTQ+ celebs talking about their experience of coming out.
“When I was 20, I fell in love with somebody who happened to be a woman. I was open about it because I wanted people to know that I had been with a woman.”
Angelina Jolie was happy to shout about her feelings.

Shailene Woodley’s love isn’t bound by gender.
