We’re not Monki-ing around, the high street is getting real about periods

Monki turns ten this year, and to celebrate, they’re throwing the best party we could imagine: they’re getting real about periods, and there’s awesome merchandise to boot.

And we’re all invited!

The label has partnered with loads of awesome women to start conversations around periods, masturbating, cyberbullying and LGBT+ issues. You know, all the regular things that high street fashion brands talk about.

One of the faces of their ‘Periods are cool. Period.’ campaign is Kiran Gandhi, a musician who caused a stir (and earned our respect) in 2015 when she ran the London Marathon while on her period, and let the blood leak through her tights.
