The best Depop accounts to follow (and shop) RN

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years you’re probably pretty familiar with eBay’s cool younger sister Depop. After being founded in 2011, the Depop app has been downloaded more than 3 million times – even celebs like megababe Emily Ratajkowski are jumping on the bandwagon. And why not? Imagine being able to access the world’s best thrift shop from your phone. Yeah, that’s Depop.

Whether you’re wanting to flog last season’s buys or start your Christmas shopping early, Depop is an online marketplace where you can buy almost anything – all from the comfort of your couch. And it’s not just second-hand bargains either, there’s even a few independent brands using the app as a way to sell their garms, including model Felicity Hayward’s super cool brand “Self Love Brings Beauty” which flogs gorgeous totes and tees promoting all things self-love.

While they don’t tend to have their own accounts, some celebs like Ella Eyre and DJ Annie Mac have donated clothes to be sold on Depop which is pretty cool. That being said, there is a new generation of Depop-famous accounts you should definitely get to know.

Isabella McFadden – @internetgirl

Isabella, or Internet Girl as she’s known by her fans, is a Canadian Depop mogul. Bella teamed up with her boyfriend Spencer to run the 90s inspired Depop shop @internetgirl. Since launching in 2012 they’ve gained over 400,000 followers and sell an average of 25 to 30 products a day worldwide. Talk about a power couple.

Fiona Short – @fifiscloset

Sheffield born Fiona is Depop royalty, a permanent feature on the app’s “People” page, which displays the only hottest accounts currently trading on the marketplace. She prides herself on selling “ethically and sustainably sourced fashion” to her cohort of dedicated 140,000+ followers, heavily inspired by 90s icons such as Winona Ryder and Betty Spaghetti dolls. This babe is definitely worth a follow.

Some of our fave bloggers are also turning to Depop to cash-in, including betty babes Confetti Crowd.

Lulu Trixabelle – @lulutrixabelle

Lulu’s account is all things cute, colourful and crochet and I for one can’t get enough. Can someone please rewind to summer so I have an excuse to splurge? As well as selling things from her own wardrobe, she sells some pieces from her own label – FLUFFY – which is V cool.

If Lulu’s not your fave member of Confetti Crowd though, make sure to check out the rest of the girls on Depop – here are Tiger Lily, Heidi and Heli’s treasure troves. The girls glittery festi-garms fly off the virtual shelves so make sure to give their accounts a follow if you want to stay up to date with their glitzy bitz.
