How often have you gone to your hairdresser and pulled up an Instagram screenshot of your favourite celeb’s latest cut for them to copy? All the time, right? Well, those coveted cuts began with another hairstylist, one who’s skilled (and brave) enough to tackle some of the most famous barnets in the business. So next time you’re heading to the salon, have a peep at the source of your new look first, with our seven fave famous hairdressers to follow RN…

Jen Atkin

Quite possibly the most famous tress teaser on the planet right now, Jen Atkin is best known for her work with the Kardashians and BFF Chrissy Teigen, as well as her amazing haircare line Ouai.

Jen has also worked with everyone from Bella Hadid to Katy Perry, and we’re kind of obsessed with her own now-signature bob, though the idea of having to keep up with the regular fringe trims seems like a lot of effort. Maybe we should retrain in hairstyling? Or leave it to the pros like Jen, who you should totally follow on Insta, @jenatkinhair.

Shah Karegar

His own hair is pretty in pink, but Shah is a master of all colours, keeping blonde Delilah Belle Hamilin’s highlights in check and her brunette sister Amelia Gray’s tresses looking fresh.

Oh u know just blending in . 🌺 #nobiggy #pink #haircolor

Shah’s regular clients also include model Irina Shayk and everyone’s favourite celebrity Friends, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox. Check out his handiwork @shahkaregar.

Andrew Fitzsimons

Like Jen Atkin, Andrew is a master of Kardashian hair, working regularly with all five sisters. The Irish hairdresser counts Karlie Kloss, Shay Mitchell and Joan Smalls among his other clients, but he isn’t just about that celebrity life.

In fact, Andrew has partnered with the Trans Economic Empowerment Program (TEEP) and the Los Angeles LGBTQ centre to provide access to hair, beauty and self-care resources for trans women and gender non-confirming people. Follow him and find out more @andrewfitzsimons.

Justine Marjan

Harmonizers, if you want to see how Lauren Jauregui gets her hair looking so big and glossy, you better get following Justine. Of course, Lauren is far from Justine’s only famous client, with Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge, Jasmine Saunders (aka Golden Barbie) and Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart all relying on her services.

Follow Justine @justinemarjan and don’t be surprised if you spend the next week trying to perfect her glam ponytail.

Danielle Priano

She was a long-time collaborator of Mariah Carey’s, but now Danielle is best-known for her work with the Victoria’s Secret girls, regularly taming their manes on campaign shoots and appearances.

Carly Walters

An assistant of Jen Atkin’s, who is now taking on her own clients, Carly recently styled the models’ hair on Khloe Kardashian’s Good American denim campaign.

That's about right..running around New York stylin some hair 🏃🏼‍♀️ Nikes essential. ✔️#dazed #havehair #willtravel 😝

She’s also worked with megababes Nadine Leopold, Shanina Shaik and Fifth Harmony’s Dinah Jane. Follow Carly before your friends do @carlyxhair.

Jayson Medina

Bebe Rexha’s go-to guy mostly splits his time between the blonde bombshell and Fergie, though he has also been known to work with Ellie Goulding, most notably on her hair for Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood video.

Jayson also does men’s grooming for the likes of The 1975 and US boyband Forever In Your Mind. Lucky guy! Follow him @jaysonhairdos.

Sometimes it’s easy to think celebs are barely even humans – they’re otherworldly aliens with perfect skin and a million Instagram followers who can perform to whole stadiums without getting nervous, while we freak out about the tiniest thing.

But just like all of us, celebs have their ups and downs; they struggle, they panic, and they come out the other side just a little bit stronger. Here are some of our favourite celebs getting real about their mental health, to remind us that we’re never the only ones.

“The first time I had a panic attack, I was sitting in my friend’s house and I thought the house was burning down. I called my mom and she brought me home, and for the next three years it just wouldn’t stop.”

Emma Stone knows that panic attacks can be properly scary – and they don’t always make sense, either.

“It’s difficult to describe depression to someone who’s never been there, because it’s not sadness. I know sadness. Sadness is to cry and to feel. But it’s that cold absence of feeling – that really hollowed out feeling.”

Depression can be hard to put into words. But as usual, JK Rowling writes it beautifully.

“My brain and my heart are really important to me. I don’t know why I wouldn’t seek help to have those things be as healthy as my teeth. I go to the dentist. SO why wouldn’t I go to a shrink?”

Listen to Kerry Washington, everyone. Your brain needs to be looked after just like everything else (and she also has great teeth).

“I’m constantly having a battle with myself. But you do have control over your body. You have to think of the worst case scenario and how that’s not going to happen. You’re not going to die. You can do this.”

Zoella has spoken often about her struggles with anxiety, and that honesty is one of the many reasons we love her.

“[Exercise] has helped with my anxiety in ways I never dreamed possible. To those struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression: I know it’s mad annoying when people tell you to exercise, and it took me about 16 medicated years to listen. I’m glad I did. It ain’t about the ass, it’s about the brain.”

Lena Dunham knows that sometimes a workout for your ody is the best rest you can give your brain.

“I’m scared of audiences. I get sh*tty scared. One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile-vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don’t like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.”

Just another point for the long list of reasons Adele is our hero.

“People use ‘panic attack’ very casually out here in Los Angeles, but I don’t think most of them really know what it is. Every breath is laboured. You are dying. You are going to die. It’s terrifying.”

Comedian Sarah Silverman knows there’s nothing funny about a real anxiety attack.

“[My fans] know that I’ve struggled with depression, and that helped them get over theirs. That gives me a big purpose – a reason to wake up in the morning that’s bigger than to put on my f** king feathers and my little outfits.”

Don’t you dare say Miley Cyrus isn’t a good role model.

“Anxiety’s like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn’t get you very far.”

Author Jodi Picoult has the very best metaphor for those panic attacks.

“When I was doing Bake Off it was quite stressful and I had a little elastic band across my hand. I would ping it and forget why I was worried, I would use that in Bake Off but in week five or six it pinged off.”

Your favourite cake queen Nadiya Hussain discovered that ‘desserts’ really is ‘stressed’ spelled backwards.

“There’s no shame in having to fight every day, but fighting every day, and presumably, if you’re still alive to hear these words or read this interview, then you are winning your war. You’re here.”

Supernatural and Gilmore Girls star Jared Padalecki knows that sometimes, the key to beating mental illness is taking it one day at a time.

“It just makes me wonder how many others are days, hours, seconds away from realising their worth, their potential? And once the dark cloud is lifted will be truly happy and free.”

Ruby Rose, on coming through depression and seeing the sun shine again.

There were lots of famous faces at the MTV TV & Movie Awards last night, but none of them stole the show quite like our 13-year-old shero, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

For starters, Millie rocked the red carpet like an absolute pro. These boots are made for slayin’.

A post shared by Millie Bobby Brown (@milliebobbybrown) on

Then she chatted to Emma Watson (who had a great night herself by the way, winning the best actor award for Beauty and the Beast), and look at her face. Just look how happy they both are! I like to imagine the entire conversation went like this:

Millie: “You’re amazing!”

Emma: “No, you’re amazing!”

Millie: “No, you!”

And then they arrange a sleepover for next weekend. Let’s hope.

And look at her face when she was announced as the winner of Best Actor in a TV show – the first gender-neutral award for TV acting, where she beat off serious competition from proper adult stars like Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover. Also, look how excited the rest of the Stranger Things crew are!

Look, LOOK how proud they are! #squadgoals

Our girl Millie also got all emotional in her speech. Which meant everyone in the crowd got all emotional too.

And afterwards she posed for photos with Baywatch stars Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario, and LOOK AT THE WAY SHE’S RESTING HER HEAD AGAINST HIS CHEST. IS THAT NOT THE SWEETEST/MOST JEALOUS-MAKING THING YOU’VE EVER SEEN?!

And finally, because she’s a humble magical unicorn, she posted this Instagram video from the car on the way home thanking her fans.

Thank you. XOXO

The sun is shining, cherry blossom is blossoming and you can smell chocolate in the air… Easter is almost upon us!

If your school doesn’t break up until next week – we’re really sorry, that totally sucks. We suggest having another Easter egg to soothe the pain. But whether you’re already on holidays, you’re waiting for the clock to strike half three or you have another week to go, here’s everything we’ve been reading, watching and loving this week. Enjoy!

The Coca-Cola office rejoices

Pepsi’s latest ad has sparked outrage. The ad features Kendall Jenner at a photoshoot, where she sees protestors marching past and pulls off her blonde wig, wipes off her lipstick and joins the crowd of people to offer a police officer a can of Pepsi.

It looks like Pepsi was trying to capitalise on the current protest movement that has led to Black Lives Matter, the Women’s March and the anti-Muslim Ban protests… but massively cocked it up, basically. The ad seems to imply that a can of carbonated fizzy pop and a very white woman can solve the massive civil and political unrest that’s currently going on in the States and here in the UK. Pepsi has taken the ad down from YouTube and issued a statement saying, “We did not intend to make light of any serious issue.” Whoops.

After seeing Taryn Brumfitt’s film Embrace a few months ago, body-positive activist Megan Jayne Crabbe couldn’t get it out of her head. So this week, she posted a photo of herself on Instagram with a sign reading #IHaveEmbraced to help spread the message, and we are in love with everything about it. From her beautiful body to her wide smile and her utterly fabulous hair. Our bodies are our homes, let’s take care of them.

#IHAVEEMBRACED THIS BODY. This soft tummy, these dimpled thighs, these jiggling arms, this bare face. All the parts I never thought I could. Because I realised couldn't spend any more of my life seeing my body as the enemy, instead of my home. 💜 · A few months ago I saw the body positive documentary Embrace by Taryn Brumfitt of @bodyimagemovement and I fucking loved it. I mean, I was crying within the first 15 minutes, but I still loved it 😂 who else has seen it? I wanted to take my own #ihaveembraced picture to keep spreading the Embrace love – this isn't a sponsored or paid post or anything like that, I just think it's important to support bopo projects and this film really hit me in the feels! "Darling girl, don't waste a single day of your life being at war with your body… Just embrace it." 💜💙💚🌈🌞 P.s. I totally cheated and added the writing on this after because the one I wrote was a mess, no shame in my Paint game 😂

How to be a grown up

One of our betty writers and all-round wonderful human Daisy Buchanan has written a book, and we are So. Freaking. Excited. Daisy is funny and thoughtful and loves to surround herself with hilarious weirdos (the betty team included), and there is nobody better at dispensing big sisterly advice. How To Be A Grown Up will make you laugh and think and appreciate the beauty of making mistakes. Order it here now!

Bell Hadid is proud to be a Muslim

In the latest issue of Porter, Bella Hadid spoke about her split with The Weeknd, how her mum is her hero, and about her faith.  “My dad was a refugee when he first came to America, so [President Donald Trump’s travel ban] is actually very close to home for my sister [Gigi Hadid] and brother [Anwar Hadid] and me,” she said. “He was always religious, and he always prayed with us. I am proud to be a Muslim.”

And when pressed about who she was dating, she shut the interviewer down like a pro. “I’m not really worried about what guys think about me, I’m just trying to be a woman!” Kudos, Bella.

The La La Promposal

What do you do when you left it to the last minute to ask someone to prom? You get a whole bunch of your mates together to rip off a song from a film that almost won best Oscar so that you can ask out the woman who actually won an Oscar. Duh.

Or at least, that’s what Jacob Staudenmaier did. Jacob’s from a town just around the corner from where Emma Stone herself grew up and decided to ask out his celebrity crush to prom. No word yet on her answer, but his video’s had almost 72,000 views – so who knows, maybe one of them was Em herself.

Stylesing it out

And finally – Harry Styles is the new David Bowie! His debut single is here and it is GENUINELY EVERYTHING. No really. We know, we were surprised too.

Emma Watson is a woman. And like lots of women, she has those lumpy things that come in various shapes and sizes and decorate a woman’s chest. You know, those things that get perkier in the cold and jiggle when you run down the stairs? Boobs. A girl’s breast friend.

In her latest shoot for Vanity Fair magazine, Emma Watson showed some of her boob. Not the whole knocker, though that would be fine too, but this was just underboob. And in a shocking turn of events, certain people of the internet went batsh*t about it.

For some reason, people took issue with the fact that Emma Watson, a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN who is one of the most outspoken celebrities advocating for gender equality… had boobs? Showed her boobs? Wore a ridiculous looking and highly impractical top? Oh god, it’s just so confusing and stupid and WHO EVEN CARES?!

They’re her boobs to do what she wants with – if Emma Watson wants to knit nipple covers and wear them like tea cosies, that’s her prerogative. If she wants to guard them like a state secret, that’s cool too. If she wants to photocopy them and put them on every billboard all over the country, bras off to her.

Thankfully, there are loads of people on the internet who understand that feminism is about choice and that you can be a feminist and do whatever you fancy with your boobies.

But no one said it better than Emma herself, who defended the shoot during a press junket for her upcoming film, Beauty and the Beast.

Wow, all those haters must be feeling like real tits right now.

PSA: The Grammys are this Sunday and we CANNOT wait.

The Grammys always tend to attract some sort of scandal or controversy (T. Swift and Kayne; Beyonce’s first Beyby; Pharrell’s hat… fond memories, all). To every gossip columnist’s disappointment, Kim & Kayne have clicked ‘Not Attending’ this year – but don’t panic, because there’s still plenty of potential for drama at this year’s ceremony.

Here are the top 10 things we’re crossing our fingers and microwaving the popcorn for.

1. Lemonade wins the album of the year, Beyoncé launches an actual Lemonade brand off the back of it. $7 a bottle, it replaces Fiji water as the must-have schoolbag bottle totty.

2. And that she refer to her twins as ‘Beybies’. Do it for us, B.

3. Kim Kardashian is beamed onto the stage via hologram and announces that she’s pregnant. With triplets. Or Quadruplets.

4. Lady Gaga wears another kickin’ crop top during her performance and schools anyone who tries to comment on her body. Again.

5. That everyone will cry at an incredibly moving tribute to Prince, and David Bowie. And George Michael. And Leonard Cohen. Man, 2016 was a rough year.

6. The Weeknd and Selena Gomez make their red carpet debut and do something stupidly adorable.

7. James Corden is hosting, and we know that man can sing. We can’t be the only ones hoping he gets involved with a musical number – ideally the rap from American Boy, a la Smithy, but we won’t be choosy.

8. Katy Perry is meant to be performing, and word on the street is that she’ll be singing a new track that’s meant to drop TODAY called Chained to the Rhythm. Brb, got to refresh YouTube for the millionth time today.

9. That Justin Bieber changes his mind at the last moment and decides to show up with his adorable dog, Todd. Preferably with both of them dressed in matching tuxedos please.

A post shared by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) on

10. It’s not often that we’d bet against Adele, but we hope that Kelly Clarkson wins a Grammy for this live performance because it is bloody incredible. Physically impossible to watch without tearing up (or, you know, full blown, sobbing onto your keyboard). We’re not the only ones obsessed with this performance, it racked up nearly 25 million views on YouTube and 83 million views on Facebook. C’mon Kelster.

Check back in on Monday to see if any of our wishes come true! And wish extra hard for Todd the dog, guys.

Did you watch Meryl Streep’s award speech at the Golden Globes earlier this month? It was everything; tear-inducing, funny, smart, sassy, graceful and seriously important.

Meryl’s choice to take a moment that was meant to be about her, in a very public way, and turn it into a speech about important global issues (including race, equality and love) was awe-inspiring, and now we all want to go round hers for tea even more than we did before. Which was a lot. You just know she’d give you seconds.

To celebrate the speech, which will go down in awards season history, we’ve made a playlist of the coolest, funniest, smartest awards speeches from women we love. They’ll do you the world of good on a rainy day when you’ve got a test and three new spots to deal with.

Hattie McDaniel, Oscars 1940

Gone With the Wind actress Hattie McDaniel was the first African American to win an Oscar, ever. Her speech was beautiful and joy-filled. “I sincerely hope that I will always be a credit to my race… my heart is too full”.

Merritt Weaver, Emmy Awards 2013

The funniest and possibly shortest speech we’ve ever seen – Merritt Weaver’s Emmy acceptance for her role as the kooky and totally adorable Zoey in US TV show Nurse Jackie. Watch, laugh and watch again.

Adele, Golden Globes 2013

One of the many, many (many) things we love about Adele, is her ability to always be Adele. She doesn’t try to be slick, or get high on her own supply. Also, any speech that begins with shrieks of “OH MA GOD! OH MA GOD!” is a winner in our book.

Katherine Bigalow, Oscars 2010

Not only was Katherine incredibly gracious in her acceptance speech (she dedicated it to women and men in the military), she was also the first woman to ever win an Oscar for Best Director, making Hollywood history, for her action-packed war film The Hurt Locker. Inspiring.

Patricia Arquette, Oscars 2015

Like Meryl, Patricia took her opportunity at the speech podium to raise awareness about an important issue – in this case, the gender pay gap. She begins by thanking her “beautiful, powerful” fellow actress nominees, and ends with Meryl heckling a supportive “Yaaas!” from the crowd. We want her poise in bucketloads.

Emma Thompson, Golden Globes 1996

Emma’s speeches are always amazing (she presented a Golden Globe in 2014 barefoot and holding a cocktail) but our favourite is when she won a Golden Globe for writing Sense and Sensibility in 1996. Basically, she reads out a letter pretending to be from Jane Austen and everyone agrees it’s hilarious. Legend.

Jennifer Lawrence, Oscars 2013

We couldn’t not include this one – Jen tripping on her dress at the Oscars then immediately laughing it off before remembering to thank about 67 people, because she’s cool and grateful with the good manners of an angel. Because of her, falling over on the way to the bus stop is way less painful. What a babe.

Gina Rodriguez, Golden Globes 2015

Gina’s empowering speech encouraging young Latina girls to pursue their dreams is shiver-down-the-spine stuff. Our favourite quote; “This award is so much more than myself – it represents a culture that wants to see themselves as heroes”.

Anna Paquin, Oscars 1994

Anna was the second youngest actress ever to win an Oscar – she was just 11 when she was awarded Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Piano. She totally bosses her speech, which is made up entirely of thank-yous. Also, she’s wearing a fabulous sparkly beret. You go Paquin.

What are you waiting for? Grab a shampoo bottle and get practising.

It’s official – awards season is upon us. The Golden Globes were held on Sunday, the BAFTAs are just around the corner and we can practically smell the Oscars in the air.

Which means red carpets. Loads of red carpets. Amidst all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, it’s easy to get caught up in the beautiful dresses and the hair so shiny you can practically use it as a mirror – and that’s all lovely – but let’s also remember that awards season is really about acknowledging how kickass these people are at their jobs.

Unfortunately, some of the reporters of the red carpet seem to forget that these women aren’t just walking, talking clothes hangers. But the leading ladies of the big screen aren’t about to take it lying down. Here are some of our very fave women calling out sexism and stupidity on the red carpet. Give them ALL the awards.

Cate Blanchett

Australian actress Cate Blanchett wanted to know why the cameras were only interested in the women’s legs. Aren’t all pins created equal?

Rashida Jones

Parks and Rec star Rashida Jones called BS when a reporter asked her about her ‘tan’. Mike drop.

Amy Schumer

Stand up comedian Amy Schumer got real about the other sort of red carpet.

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner wondered why no one asked her (then) husband about how he ‘balances work and family’. Now will someone please ask her something important, like if she did all her own stunts in Alias?

Mayim Bialik

A reporter made some big assumptions about the Big Bang Theory star’s calculus ability. He got schooled.

mayim-bialik   mayim-bialik2

Jennifer Lawrence

J. Law, winner of three Golden Globes and the highest paid actress in Hollywood, called it like she saw it when she was asked about her dress. Literally.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone, who won a Golden Globe for her performance in La La Land this year, sassed it up when a reporter cat-called her, proving, for the millionth time, there’s so much more to this leading lady than the way she looks.

Elisabeth Moss

In what has got to be one of most bizarre inventions of the 21st Century, the red carpet introduced the ‘mani cam’ where celebrities can show off their manicures. If flipped Elisabeth Moss right off.

When asked about her dating life, Rihanna made it clear than she don’t need no man. Preach, Rhi Rhi.

rhianna   rhianna-2

This awards season, let’s remember that there’s more to these ladies than the way they look. They’re the best in the business and they’re fierce as hell.

Do you ever watch your classmates glide across the room looking all cool, as if they’ve never worried about tripping up and falling flat on their face on the floor? Or walking up the corridor with their skirt tucked in their knickers? Or introducing themselves to new people with bits of ham stuck in their teeth? Or standing up in front of the class and going BRIGHT TOMATO RED before they’ve even said a word?

In that case, it turns out you might be just like me: a little bit shy and socially awkward.

And the good news is, there’s loads of us.

Yes, really! It’s not just you!

I spent a huge part of my early teens worrying about everything from whether I had loo roll stuck to my shoe to whether I walked weirdly. I still do, TBH. And it’s bloody exhausting.

But don’t worry. Because betty is here to help.

We believe in embracing our quirks. It’s ok to admit you get nervous. And that goes for celebrities too.

Yes, there’s a socially awkward revolution going on and our fave celebs are leading the way. (Thank you, J-Law, we love you.) Here they are, embracing their inner weird.

Jennifer Lawrence

The queen of awks, Jennifer Lawrence has taught us that it’s okay to fall over, to talk about food when you’re expected to be all glam and just be yourself at awards shows, events and even in interviews. In fact, ALL the time. Not only has she taught us it’s ok, but that people often like you more for it because you seem happy to be you and you’re not trying to be anyone else.

Kendall Jenner

The little Kardashian sister certainly doesn’t come across as shy when she’s on camera. But she’s the first to admit that she really struggled with shyness growing up, especially in new situations. “I only get shy if I’m around people who make me nervous, which I guess is normal,” she told People magazine.

Emma Blackery

Emma Blackery may have 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube, but like most of us, she’s got herself into an awkward conversation. Or twenty. She’s even made a video about some of her most awkward moments, and we’re not gonna lie, some of them are pretty damn cringeworthy.

Lady Gaga

On stage Lady Gaga has the most powerful, confident and super sparkly presence. She couldn’t be shy in real life, right? Wrong! Gaga has admitted to feeling nervous in certain situations — especially around big groups of people. It seems like Gaga has increased her confidence as she’s become more famous and got more comfortable in her own skin. Tell us your secret, Gaga!

Mark Zuckerberg

He’s one of the most successful and smart men on the planet. He created Facebook for goodness sake! But he often comes across as a little bit awkward and shy in certain situations. “He is shy and introverted and he often does not seem very warm to people who don’t know him, but he is warm,” Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg told the New York Times.

Lilly Singh

Superwoman calls herself a “professional weirdo,” and we are totally in love with her. She has an awesome idea for ‘awkward situations we should all just accept’ and we’re totally with her. Say farewell to feeling awkward when you go in for a hug and someone else goes in for the handshake.

Britney Spears

Even though she’s been famous for years, and seems REALLY confident on stage, Britney has admitted she gets really shy sometimes. In a recent interview she explained: “It’s weird because I think people think because of what I do I’m like, ‘Da-na’, but at heart, I’m very shy… When I’m in front of the camera I know what to do, but I get in a room, stuck with four guys, and I’m like the shyest girl in there.”

Kirsten Stewart

The star of the Twilight movies is notoriously shy in interviews. She’s had a lot of stick on the internet for coming across a bit mean and cold when she talks about her roles. But it turns out she just gets really damn shy, just like us! She said in an interview: “In real life, I’m very shy. I feel uncomfortable during interviews because I need to talk about myself. But to talk about yourself, you have to know who you are.”

Of all the things we’ll be sad to see go when the Obamas leave the White House this week, perhaps the thing we’ll miss most is the Barack and Joe Biden bromance memes. Like this one of Barry O awarding his pal with the Medal of Freedom – or as the internet liked to think of it, the classiest friendship necklace ever.

But don’t cry – we’ve rounded-up a lovefest list of our fave celebrity BFF pairings, to fill the Obiden void.

Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner

While the Stark sisters have an erm… complicated, relationship, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner’s one is pretty straight forward: they’re straight-up BFFs. The Game of Thrones co-stars have literally grown up together, so they have firm BFF credentials – but in case you were in any doubt, last year they even revealed their matching tattoos at the Emmys.

Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran

They craft for each other, they get ready for awards shows together, they speak in rhyme and they even make each other jam. Hands down the most adorable pals in the world.

Taylor Swift and… pretty much everybody

Happy 4th from us ❤️

What else do we expect from the woman literally responsible for the hashtag #squadgoals? Her vast army of friends ranges from models to actors to sportspeople to her primary school BFF. And one day, maybe, us.

Zendaya and Tom Holland

Tom Holland and Zendaya met on the set of the film Spider-man: Homecoming, where she plays Mary Jane and Peter Parker in the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. But their friendship isn’t just for the screens – after all you know what they say: friends who dance together, stay together.

Salasi and Val

Oh Bake Off, you’ve left such a cake-shaped hole in our lives – but luckily, some of the cast have continued to hang out and warm our hearts like fresh scones. Salasi and Val are easily our fave Bake Off friendship to date. Nothing says adorable like a baking banker from London hopping on his motorbike to hang out with a pensioner in Somerset.

Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell

To my little sis on her birthday – PLL has given me so many things I'm thankful for but you are easily at the top of that list. Having experienced something so life changing together has bonded us in a way that's impossible to describe, and I am forever grateful you were by my side the entire time (literally 😬). We have spent so many early mornings and late nights together and it's those moments, those exhausted, delirious, and hilarious moments I can't wait to look back on in five years and tell our kids about years after that. I know this next year of your life will be your best yet and I am so lucky to be along for the ride. I love you Benz and I'm so thankful you were born. – Buttah 🙌🏽🎂👭 #buttahbenzo

The five Pretty Little Liars stars are all real life BFFs (so much so that they got matching tattoos to remember each other by when they finished filming – seriously, matching tattoos are everything) but Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell are more than just besties. They’re ‘sisters’.

Dan and Phil

YouTube stars Dan (@danisnotonfire) and Phil (AmazingPhil) met through the internet in 2009 – and they’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since. They’ve made hundreds of YouTube videos together, they’ve done a radio show together and they’ve even lived together. How could you not be Phans of these two?

Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak

The Ross and Rachel of Twitter, Mindy Kaling and BJ Novak were colleagues, then bf and gf, then platonic BFFs. Supposedly. It’s been a very confusing ride for their fans who just want these two soup snakes to be together.

Suki Waterhouse and Cara Delevingne

Suki and Cara have been best friends since their school days. In 2016, they somehow made a high-vis jacket the ‘must have’ of the season when they wore their matching ones to Glastonbury. They topped off the look with blue hair extensions and matching braids from Braid Bar, because everyone knows that while friends worry about wearing the exact same outfit, best friends dream of it.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Judge Rinder

The Sherlock actor and daytime TV star Robert (aka Judge Rinder) met at Manchester University, where they became student BFFs. Robert was the best man at Benefit Combersnog’s wedding – and even more adorably, when the Judge got hitched a couple of years earlier, Benny C got ordained online so he could officiate the ceremony. Or ‘Tribbiani it’, as we like to say.

Grace Helbig, Hannah Hart, and Mamrie Hart.

These three lovely ladies are have been dubbed ‘YouTube’s Holy Trinity’ by their fans. Between the three of them they have 2.3 MILLION FOLLOWERS, and rumour has it that if they ever had a fight, the internet might actually implode.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey

The joint queens of comedy, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are one of our fave celeb double acts. They spent years on Saturday Night Live together, and were the first female duo to host Weekend Update. Oh, and they’ve hosted the Golden Globes – three freakin’ times. Obviously, they missed working together so much that they starred in a sibling comedy film together, proving once and for all that they really are each others’ sister from another mister.
